Designing for everyone: accessible PDFs

In order to allow people with disabilities to live independently, many organisations, particularly in the government sector, are required to ensure information is accessible by all. Accessible PDFs are an important tool in ensuring information is available to visually impaired audiences.

Twelve creatives are experts in creating accessible PDF’s. This means not only creating documents that utilise adequate text size and colour contrast that adheres to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, but also proper file structure to ensure documents can be read and navigated by a screen reader in a logical order.
