SERVICES
Annual Report, Sustainability Report, Modern Slavery Statement, Tax Contribution Report, Corporate Governance Statement, Notice of Annual General Meeting, and online investor landing page. Design research, financial typesetting, information graphics, copy editing and proofreading, collaborative workflow system, software and process trainings, print management.
CHALLENGE
The project was complex and spanned over 9 months, with multiple stakeholders, colliding deadlines and many moving parts. Delivery of the reporting suite involved precision project management and meticulous attention to detail.
Additionally, the report suite was delivered during a brand refresh, the appointment of a new CEO, and the implementation of a revised business strategy – resulting in further layers of complexity, with further design development and approvals required.
OUTCOME
To assist with meeting tight deadlines and to bridge the gap between editorial and design, Twelve implemented a collaborative editorial workflow system. We trained Coles’ reporting teams to use software and processes which streamlined review and revision cycles and improved editorial control. This system allowed both teams to meet deadlines more efficiently and saved time in the production schedule.
We designed and produced a cohesive reporting suite. Key information was presented in a clear and transparent way. Each of the reports incorporated messaging targeted to its stakeholder base, while still being strongly aligned to Coles updated strategy and brand guidelines. The Sustainability Report was delivered in a landscape format, enhancing online usability. We also recommended and designed a reporting landing page which allows investors to see a snapshot of the results before downloading the reports.
The reporting suite was well received by stakeholders across the board. The modern slavery statement being recognised as a leader in its field for content and design.
